MCC generally meets once a month for workshops, presentations, classes, showcases, readings, screenings, performances, discussions, networking events etc. We also organize additional activities for smaller or more specialized groups depending upon interest.

The first meeting of the Mormon Creative Collective - Introduction, Brainstorming Session and Networking
We had a great time at our first meeting. It was a perfect day in sunny Burbank, with good food and good company. We were a small band of creative types. Tom Harris pointed out the significance of the number six. That was the number of members present on that day in 1830 when the church was organized. We joked, we philosophized, we brainstormed and we shared personal stories... amazing stories about near-death experiences, life changing encounters in foreign countries, surgery recoveries, world-rocking observations from children and even three days as a fugitive of the law. We talked about the meaning of art in our spiritual lives and even found some moments to connect our creativity to Jesus' example of creativity. If you weren't there, not to worry... there will be more events to come, so stay tuned.
